2022 is set to be Berridge Programs’ biggest year yet, with a wider range of opportunities than ever before. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening:
2022 will see the debut of our NEW gap year program Creative Semester! This program is a unique opportunity to live in a creative community led by professional artists and based in a 18th century chateau in Normandy, France. The program offers a blend of expert-led excursions, cultural experiences, personal development workshops and hands-on classes in all artistic disciplines including Filmmaking, Writing, Studio Art, Photography, Theatre and Music. The program is taught entirely in English with optional French language classes. Creative Semester is open to students between the ages of 18-22 and will run Jan 24th - April 1st, 2022.
Summer in France After a two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to bring back in France! Spend four weeks living in an 18th century French chateau (French for "castle"!) while studying Theatre or Film with professional artists. Immerse yourself in history and culture and see all that Normandy has to offer. Open to any students between the ages of 14-18 including graduated seniors. Perfect for actors and filmmakers who want to combine study abroad with performing arts.
Berridge West If you can’t make it to France, fear not! Berridge is back at Westmont College in Santa Barbara for our third summer on this stunning college campus. Berridge West offers majors in Theatre, Music, Film, and Studio Art and you can take one as a "major" and one as a "minor" letting you focus on what you love and try something new. Open to students between the ages of 14-19 including graduated seniors. Perfect for those who want a small campus program with a variety of artistic choices.
